Who we are

troglodytus.com is published by Emmanuel Nicolas, author of Homo Troglodytus. Contact: [email protected].

Data we collect

• E-book purchase: email address, name, country and order details. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Contact and translation-alert forms: name, email and message.
• Promo codes: if you arrive through a partner link, we record an anonymous visit (hashed identifier, no raw IP address) and keep the code in a 30-day cookie so the sale can be credited to that partner.

How we use it

To deliver your e-book (an email sent via Resend), answer your messages, tell you when a translation is released and measure sales per partner. We do not sell your data.

Processors

Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), HostGator (hosting).

Retention and your rights

Order data is kept for accounting obligations; other data as long as needed. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing [email protected].

Cookies

We only use functional cookies: your cookie choice and the partner code. No advertising cookies.
