General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Preamble
These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”) govern the contractual relationship between troglodytus.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”) and any individual or legal entity making a purchase on the website www.troglodytus.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Buyer”).

By placing an order on troglodytus.com, the Buyer unreservedly accepts these T&Cs.

2. Products
The products offered for sale on troglodytus.com are eBooks (electronic books). Each product is described as accurately as possible. The photos and descriptions are provided for informational purposes only and are not contractually binding.

3. Orders
Orders are exclusively placed on the website troglodytus.com. The Buyer selects the products they wish to purchase and confirms their order after verifying the contents of their cart. Once the order is confirmed, the Buyer will receive a confirmation email. The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons, particularly in cases of payment issues or existing disputes with the Buyer.

4. Pricing
Product prices are indicated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT included). Delivery charges do not apply to eBooks, which are delivered via download. The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

5. Payment
Order payments are made online via credit card or any other payment method available on the website. Transactions are secured using SSL encryption technology. The Buyer guarantees they have the necessary authorizations to use the selected payment method.

6. Delivery
eBooks are delivered immediately after the order is confirmed and payment is received. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is correct. In case of download issues, the Buyer can contact customer service at the following address: [email protected].

7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for eBooks once the file has been downloaded or the download link has been used. By confirming the order, the Buyer agrees to waive their right of withdrawal.

8. Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the purchase of products. The Seller’s liability is limited to the amount of the order. The Seller is not responsible for site interruptions, bugs, or damages caused by viruses or external intrusions.

9. Intellectual Property
All elements of the website troglodytus.com, including the eBooks sold, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, representation, or total or partial use of the site’s elements or eBooks is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Seller.

10. Personal Data
Information collected during the order process is necessary for the processing and management of purchases. This data may be shared with the Seller’s partners involved in fulfilling orders. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the Buyer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data. To exercise this right, the Buyer can contact the Seller at the following address: [email protected].

11. Disputes
These T&Cs are governed by Mauritian law. In case of disputes, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken. Failing this, only Mauritian courts will have jurisdiction.

12. Modifications to the T&Cs
The Seller reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. The new T&Cs will apply as soon as they are published on the website troglodytus.com. Buyers are encouraged to regularly review the T&Cs.
